Great atmosphere, good quality food and friendly staff and owner. Only criticism is the dinner menu could be more comprehensive e.g include the burgers they have in lunch menu in the dinner menu.

The food and beer was good, though a bit overpriced compared to other places we went to in Hakuba. The beer battered fish of the fish and chips was delicious and would recommend! The beer choices were nice and varied, and the beers we tried were good, but the pours were modest for the prices. It’s a nice atmosphere and close to Iwatake slopes, and they also provide a free shuttle pickup and dropoff to your lodging which is really nice.

Delicious beer selection and nice cosy atmosphere after riding. The only thing that lost a star for me was the 'happy hour' apparent deal of a mere ¥50 off drinks! More like mildly pleased hour.. May as well not bother!

Burgers are huge!

Just beside Hakuba Iwatake Ski Resort. It is a beer pub which is open next to the brewery. Place design, many visitors from foreign countries, many stylish exterior and chic interior matches perfectly with Hakuba's air feeling.There are abundant assortment of local beers and IPA, but Vegan menu is also rich in variety, among which "Tempe Burger" is superb item. The fireplace is settled in the innermost part of the shop, the inside of the shop is very warm even if it is snowing outside, and the staff are bright and fun atmosphere.Hakuba night starts from here!

Good happy hour drinks

Great place for a hot meal and cold beer after a hard day on the snow. The local brews are fantastic and there's plenty of other beer and cider choices. The food is fantastic with a small menu done just right. The sticky wings were amazing and the burgers will send you into a food coma. Tops!!

A great spot to hit up for dinner, drinks and dessert after a day of skiing. With a cozy fire, various seating and solid service, we went twice during our trip to Hakuba. They also offer pick up and drop off.

Do not order the Fish taco - awful. Hakuba amber beer is great. Nice atmosphere, the test of the food was good. It was cold it the place, I had to stay with my snowboard jacket on.

They came and picked us up from our lodge. Great beer selection and the chicken parm was a huge serving!

Good food and great beer, if a little pricey. Quite a bit away from Happo but they’ll pick you up and drop you off no problem.

We stayed at the apartments upstairs and it was a great way to unwind after a day on the slopes.Fish and chips are quite good, as are the fish tacos and the poutine. I’ve heard they have great winter salads as well. They were unavailable while we stayed as the chef was on vacation.Good selection of whisky in addition to the beer selection (15 or so taps). English speaking staff is very friendly and quick.Atmosphere is pub meets ski lodge as you might hope, with a nice wood stove to fight the chill.

Great food, great service, very handy shuttle bus, but can be a bit quiet by end of Feb in the early evening. Hakuba (Japan?) doesn't do the European style apres unfortunately.
